What does Pu Chi mean?

I'm wondering what the expression "pu chi" (can) mean. We chose it as our band name, because our drummer said he read somewhere that it means "pure energy".

If it does, I'm happy, but I've tried several on-line dictionaries and didn't find any translation that said "pure energy". Since the chinese language is pretty hard for a total outsider to understand and a lot of chinese words and expressions seem to have several meanings, I'm completely lost.

I wouldn't want to look like an idiot to the entire chinese world because of something like a band name, so if you can help me out I'd be really grateful!

Thanx a lot.

FYR, I don't think "pu" means pure, however "chi" does mean energy.
The closest translation for pure should be "chun" or "cheng".
I'm a native (Madarin) Chinese speaker living in the Netherlands.

Thanx! However, how would you translate "pu chi" then?
