I'm sorry to disappoint everybody, but there isn't a Chinese alfabet. You've only got Pinyin, and this is used for foreigners to learn how to read the Chinese characters (hanzi). So it isn't possible to spell a name just in our alfabet. The only way to know this is to get a Chinese name first and then write it in pinyin (which looks really stupid). So I would recommend you all to just learn how to write in Chinese characters. Sorry.

Hve been studying Chinese (with difficulty), but came accross a really nifty piece of software a couple of months ago that's skyrocketed my knowledge, and it's free, get it at eteach.uni.cc
