Is it possible to convert it into plain text (.txt) type document and zipped for windows users?

Hi Thomas,

Thank you very much. When I visit the mirrors of the IFCSS site, so many are .tar, .gz etc, which I cannot access. Since the majority of computer users are using PC's running windows, it makes sense to have open acess material in a useable form. Again, Thanks.

You might try the Windows program Winzip. It can handle tar/gz files. The evaluation (unlimited tryout) version is free.

It contains minor revisions in jyutping pronunciations and corrections in jyutping (-aa vs -a) as indicated by Adam Sheik (thanks)

Dear all,

CCDICT flatfile v4.9.8 is available for download:
http://www.chineselanguage.org/CCDICT/S ... 9.8.tar.gz

It contains some corrections, addition of Big5, CNS11643-1992, and GB columns copied from the Unicode Unihan data file.

Some records were roll-backed because they were incorrectly compiled in the 4.2 version.

Thank you all for the many error reports which have contributed to this interim version and the many bug reports I still need to deal with.
