"chi/ci fo2" and "bun1 hung1"

Post by Corina » Mon Aug 18, 2003 4:30 am

I had two questions/translations

The first one is the word ~"chi/ci fo2". The Chi sounds like Chi like to "stick" or in toilet paper as in "Chi Zi". That Chi. The Fo2 sounds like fire. I heard this in context with clothes and wrinkles in the clothes, so I'm guessing that it's either a machine or a process that presses clothes? Perhaps a clothes presser ? Any ideas on this one?

My second word is "bun1 hung1 (1?)" - I think it deals with moving things. Perhaps it means to empty? Like to move all things out? I'm not sure but the word sounds like "bun1 hung1". Any ideas?

Get back to the post asap =) Thanks!!

1. ci3 fo3 次貨, literally second quality of products, means not up to standard

2. bun1 hung1 搬空, to empty
