A question about Confucious

Postby Hung Dao Dai Vuong » Tue Jun 10, 2003 6:18 pm

I heard many Koreans say that Confucious was indeed Korean instead of Chinese. Can anyone let me know why they say this?

It has nothing very much to do about the Cantonese language. This is off topic wouldn't you say?

Because they don't know the fact and history, that's the reason.

Confucious was never Korean. He was originally from Shang Dong province...then called Lu. Whomever is saying this is wrong. They are just trying to steal credit to show that Koreans made Confucianism. However, it is debatable whether Lao Tzu could have been a Korean...but I highly doubt it.

been to shandong and been to confucious birthplace and hometown. visited his tomb too. those koreas are probably having inferiority complex, that they simply cannot accept the fact that their most treasured ancient school of thoughts actually came from another country.

Hahahaha....that just might be it! Funny...can't accept that they learnt from Chinese people and didn't make up Confucianism their own.
